Selective Breeders of Exclusively
Straight Egyptian Arabians

Nestled in the rolling countryside of the Chattahoochee Hills in Newnan, GA, Jen-Nor Arabians is a small, family-owned and operated farm dedicated to breeding and caring for exclusively Straight Egyptian Arabian horses.

Of the several hundred thousand Arabian horses worldwide, less than 3% of those can be correctly called straight Egyptian.  The most ancient and purest breed of horse in the world, the rare and highly prized Egyptian Arabian is treasured for its beauty, endurance, courage, intelligence and loving disposition.  Because they were carefully bred and reared in close contact with man from the earliest records of the Bedouin desert tribes of Arabia, the Egyptian Arabian developed an unrivaled ability to bond with humans.  They have an amazing temperament, and will absolutely capture your heart the first time you come face-to-face with them!

We invite you to visit owners Jennifer and Norris Mackey at our cozy country retreat, Jen-Nor Arabians, to explore the rewards of owning a straight Egyptian Arabian.  Our dream ranch was realized and built from the ground-up with the support and daily efforts of Jennifer’s parents, Jim and Judy Wood.

Come and discover for yourself how this rare breed can reward you with invaluable lifelong companionship, and also afford you an insurable business investment with practical tax advantages.  Visitors are always welcome!

Holly at One Month of Age

The first foal Jen-Nor Arabians produced,
Ghazalahh Halluj JNA (Mishaal HP x IM Arabia), aka "Holly", foaled March 2009

Update (November 2009):

Holly makes her successful debut at
Jen-Nor Arabians' first show!

Jen-Nor Arabians competed in two classes at the Western Carolina AHA Fall Show in Clemson, SC.  Ghazalahh Halluj JNA, aka "Holly", our first bred (Mishaal HP x IM Arabia) impressed all as a weanling and we took home the Blue Ribbon in Sport Horse in Hand Mares 2 and Under, and also placed Fourth in her Weanling Filly Halter class.  We were proud to show off Holly and had a wonderful time with friends and family.

May 2009:  Jen-Nor Arabians was honored to have Liz Salmon, highly regarded and renowned Equine Consultant and International Judge, evaluate our mares and new filly.  It was a pleasure meeting her and having her visit our farm!  We are incorporating her feedback on the phenotype and genotype of our herd into our breeding program to help make breeding decisions that will produce the best straight Egyptian foals possible.
